Doctor Approved Retainers™ – Terms & ConditionsEffective: April 2nd 2025 - last updated
Doctor Approved Retainers™ is a product line provided under the Retainers For Life® LLC brand. These retainers are custom-made and shipped directly to patients within the United States. This program is not a membership and does not require enrollment in any ongoing service. By placing an order for Doctor Approved Retainers™, the patient agrees to the pricing outlined at checkout and to the following Terms & Conditions.

General Terms

• All pricing is subject to change at any time without notice.
  
• All retainers are custom-made for each individual and are therefore not eligible for returns or refunds unless they qualify under our Fit Guarantee.
  
• Retainers For Life® LLC is not responsible for delays in delivery caused by third-party shipping carriers.
  

Retainer Use & ComplianceDoctor Approved Retainers™ are fabricated from 3D printed models based on the condition of the patient’s teeth at the time of the scan.

• These retainers are designed to maintain alignment following orthodontic treatment and must be worn as prescribed by the patient’s orthodontist.
  
• If a retainer is lost, it should be replaced within one week to avoid unwanted shifting.
  
• If a retainer is not worn for more than 1–2 weeks, and the teeth have shifted, Retainers For Life® LLC is not responsible for poor fit or the need for retreatment.
  
• Patients are responsible for continuing orthodontic supervision through their orthodontist.
  
• If shifting has occurred, a new scan may be required at the patient's expense.
  

Fit Guarantee & Quality Concerns

• Any concerns regarding fit or materials must be reported to our customer service team within 5 business days of delivery.
  
• For issues reported after this timeframe, please provide supporting photos and information so we can review the case.
  
• Retainers For Life® LLC is not responsible for improper use or wear of retainers.
  
• If a retainer does not fit properly, patients are advised to consult their orthodontist for evaluation and, if needed, adjustment or recommendations for full-time wear or a new scan.
  

Discount Codes

• Promotional codes must be used within the stated validity period.
  
• Expired codes may not be honored, but you may contact customer service for questions or exceptions.
  

Use of Scan Data and Patient Information

• 3D scans and related patient data are securely stored and used solely for the purpose of manufacturing and delivering Doctor Approved Retainers™.
  
• This data may be shared only with our partnered labs and shipping providers as needed to fulfill orders.
  
• No sensitive personal information will be used for marketing or shared with unrelated third parties.
  

Shipping & Delivery

• Once retainers are fabricated, patients will be able to track the shipment through the Patient Portal.
  
• Shipping timelines are subject to delays due to weather, holidays, or carrier service issues (e.g., USPS, FedEx, etc.).
  
• If a package is lost or damaged, contact customer service immediately. While we strive to assist in resolution, Retainers For Life® LLC cannot be held responsible for delays or treatment disruptions caused by third-party carriers.
  

Payments

• All orders must be paid in full before retainers are fabricated.
  
• We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal.
  
• Failed payments may be subject to a processing fee.
  

Use of Brand & Logo

• Doctor Approved Retainers™ and Retainers For Life® are registered trademarks.
  
• Any use of the brand name, logo, or associated materials requires prior written permission.
  
• Patients may opt to be featured in marketing or social media campaigns with written consent. Unauthorized use may result in legal action.
  

Community & Giving Back

• Retainers For Life® LLC supports communities through charitable efforts and partnerships.
  
• Anyone may share our mission, content, or donation opportunities via social media or our website.
  

Legal & Dispute Resolution

• All purchases and use of this product are subject to the laws of the State of Texas.
  
• Disputes will be handled first through informal negotiations and, if unresolved, may proceed to binding arbitration.
